The PN on Friday urged the authorities to ensure every woman has access to breast cancer prevention, as it joined the international community in marking Pink October. "Breast cancer affects several women in Malta every year. Pink October is not just a symbolic gesture but should remind us that timely access to treatment, education and support can save lives." The PN expressed solidarity with all those affected by breast cancer and thanked professionals, NGOs and volunteers who worked tirelessly in this field every day. It also urged for modern and accessible treatment for all who needed it, together with psychological support services for patients and their families.
