Two fire crews from Knutsford and one from Lymm, plus police and paramedics responded to reports of a crash on the northbound carriageway of the M6 at 3.08pm on Thursday, October 2. Fire crews provided emergency first aid until paramedics arrived. The person was then helped from the vehicle under medical supervision before being taken to hospital. A spokesman for Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service said: “Firefighters were called to a road traffic collision involving three vehicles on the M6. “One casualty was given initial first aid by firefighters before paramedics arrived, who then assisted them from the vehicle and took them to the hospital.”
