Operatives of the Lagos State Police Command have arrested two suspected armed robbers who were attacking unsuspecting victims at the Shoprite mall, Ikeja and the Maryland axis and dispossessing the victims of their valuables. The statement further disclosed that the command has intensified its investigation to arrest the third suspect, who is currently at large. “The arrested suspects are currently in custody, while efforts are ongoing to track down the other members of the gang. The Commissioner of Police, Lagos State Command, CP Olohundare Jimoh, commended the operatives for their swift intervention and appreciated members of the public whose cooperation made the arrests possible. He reassured residents of the Command’s unwavering commitment to rid Lagos State of criminal elements and urged citizens to continue to provide timely and credible information to the Police for effective crime prevention and control.
