Drivers working for First Bus in Greater Manchester have accepted a new deal following industrial action.
The 20 per cent pay increase, agreed by members of the Unite union, raises hourly pay from £15 to £16, backdated to April 1, 2025.
The deal means that First Bus drivers, previously the lowest paid in the region, will now see a significant boost to their earnings.
But Stagecoach drivers based in Oldham, Stockport, and Middleton rejected a new pay offer and will continue their strike.
