Chief Justice of India BR Gavai arrived in Mauritius on a three-day official visit at the invitation of the Chief Justice of Mauritius, Mrs. Rehana Bibi Mungly-Gulbul. During his visit, Justice Gavai called on President Dharambeer Gokhool and discussed the multifaceted India–Mauritius partnership, with emphasis on educational collaboration and judicial cooperation. Earlier, Justice Gavai met Deputy Prime Minister Paul Raymond Berenger, where the talks centred on the historical and cultural bonds that link India and Mauritius.
