There have since been four more feature films (another, “Evil Dead Burn,” is due out next July) and a short, as well as a Starz television series (“Ash vs. Evil Dead”) and a succession of comic books and graphic novels that have grossed more than $300 million globally. “I realized I really, really wanted to do music, really wanted to be a musician, and the best musician I could be,” he says. There’s different ways you can go about doing that, but that’s really the mode you have to be in. He’s also worked with “Evil Dead” star Campbell on a new project.
