Baton of Hope arrives in Wrexham this weekend! The Baton of Hope – the UK’s biggest suicide prevention initiative – will arrive in Wrexham tomorrow (October 4) for a powerful day of raising awareness and spreading hope in our community. Over 60 Baton Bearers will carry the Baton through Chirk, Trevor, Cefn Mawr, Erddig and into Wrexham city centre, each with their own personal story of hope, survival or remembrance. Along the way there will be Hope Hubs in community spaces, which will open their doors to offer entertainment, refreshments, guest speakers, and a warm welcome for all. “You don’t need to book a ticket to come along to our Hope Hubs.
