A man with a history of domestic violence charges attempted to flee police custody after being arrested on an active felony bench warrant in Auburn. Jackson was spotted inside the residence, and officers were granted access by the homeowner. He was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Auburn Police Department for processing. Once at the station, Jackson dropped his body weight and tried to run, acting as if he was falling before attempting to escape. He was charged with escape in the second degree, in addition to being processed for the outstanding warrant.
