– Lewes police have arrested a man for being in possession of multiple weapons and ammunition illegally. Alex Gard was arrested without incident this morning around 10:30 a.m.Around 6:30 a.m. Lewes Police were dispatched to Savannah Beach in Lewes finding an abandoned truck in the sand. Inside were three handguns, a shotgun, an assault rifle, edged weapons, brass knuckles and several rounds of ammo. The truck reportedly belonged to Gard and efforts were made to find him. Gard was found to be a convicted felon in the State of Virginia and on probation in the State of Maryland.
