Crop producers are urged to attend a one-day workshop at North Dakota State University’s Carrington Research Extension Center on Oct. 1 to learn about using liquid livestock manure as a fertilizer. ADVERTISEMENTThe morning will kick off with an overview of livestock development and liquid manure availability in North Dakota. Rules and regulations for applying manure in North Dakota will also be covered, as well as comparing and contrasting commercial fertilizer, solid manure and liquid manure. The workshop will conclude with a discussion on the safety and response to a liquid manure spill. The Carrington Research Extension Center is located at 663 Hwy 281 N in Carrington, North Dakota.
