Add organic matter: Spread compost or aged manure over your garden to improve soil fertility before winter sets in. The Stutsman County Master Gardener Gleaning Projectis actively underway, helping collect excess produce from area gardens to fight food insecurityin the community. Donations can be dropped off at the Stutsman County Extension Office in Jamestown. By preparing our gardens now and sharing the abundance ofthe season, we not only build stronger, healthier gardens but also a stronger, healthiercommunity.
