A recent study shows that Gen Z is diving into the world of investing earlier than any generation before them. According to a new survey of 854 Americans, the average person didn’t start investing until age 27. On average, Gen Zers made their first investment at just 20 years old. For Gen Z, the top financial goal isn’t paying off debt or saving for retirement just yet. But for Gen Z, there’s a twist.
