The Department for Energy Security and Net Zero (DESNZ) has revealed the full list of subsidised training courses which will be offered under its new Warm Homes Skills Programme. Financial support will be offered to training providers in England to enable them to provide these courses in greater numbers. Training opportunities vary by provider and include options for online and face-to-face training sessions, depending on course content. In July, solar PV trade body Solar Energy UK launched Solar Careers UK, led by Sturge Mazzocchi. In a recent Solar Power Portal blog, he noted that Solar Careers UK will focus on “ensuring that workers of today and tomorrow see the solar industry as a place where they can build successful and fulfilling careers regardless of their background”.
