Asset manager Gresham House has agreed to acquire peer SUSI Partners, with the combined entity being one of Europe's ten largest energy transition investors.
Gresham House and the shareholders of Switzerland-based SUSI Partners have entered into a definitive agreement which will see UK-based Gresham House Holdings Limited acquire SUSI Partners AG, they announced last week (19 September).
They said the merger combines Gresham House's market leadership in the UK battery energy storage system (BESS) market, via the Gresham House Energy Storage Fund (GRID), with SUSI's equity and credit expertise in global energy transition infrastructure.
SUSI is focused on energy transition infrastructure, including renewable energy production, energy efficiency, energy storage, and the electrification of transport and heating.
Gresham House invests in these areas plus forestry, natural capital, real estate, and public and private equity.
