Jesus P. Pelico, a native of Guatemala in the U.S. illegally , was sentenced in Stark County Common Pleas Court on a charge of aggravated vehicular homicide in the death of Leone Turpin , 28, of Canton. The defendant also pleaded guilty to charges of operating a vehicle while under the influence of alcohol, a drug of abuse or a combination of them and failure to stop.
