Prime Minister Mitsotakis also welcomed a recent agreement between Azerbaijan and Armenia, characterizing it as a positive development for peace in the region. During talks with Egypt’s Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly, the strategic relationship between Greece and Egypt was a central topic. The meeting with the President of Sierra Leone, Dr. Julius Maada Bio, centered on cooperation within the framework of the UN Security Council. Finally, in his discussion with the Chairman of Yemen’s Presidential Leadership Council, Rashad al-Alimi, Prime Minister Mitsotakis expressed support for the Yemeni government and underscored the critical importance of freedom of navigation.
