(WFLA) — A Bradenton, Florida, man was killed Friday evening after being struck by a pickup truck while walking down the street, the Florida Highway Patrol said. The suspect, who FHP said is in the country illegally , is accused of driving under the influence, getting into two crashes and fleeing the scene both times. Shortly after, he was involved in a second crash near the intersection of 9th Street East and 44th Avenue East, which is around a mile away from the location of the first crash. FHP did not provide any additional information about the circumstances of the second crash.
