Unpaid work for man who injured officer and kicked sergeant after father's funeral

The 51-year-old admitted to causing fear and alarm by repeatedly shouting, swearing and acting in an aggressive and disorderly manner during the incident on March 5.
After being offered a lift home, the court was told Thomson began shouting and swearing at officers, calling them 'f*****g c***s' and lashing out with his arms.
"He is a man who has worked his whole adult life and could do unpaid work.
Sheriff Mhari Mactaggart said: "That was appalling behaviour, all police officers were trying to do was help you.
He was placed on a community payback order for 12 months and must complete 150 hours of unpaid work.
