A planning application has been made which looks to develop the new homes at the site of what was previously the social club of Greenfield Mill. The mill became vacant when it ceased operating in 2001 and has been the subject of previous planning applications which looked to develop homes there. The first floor would have four bedrooms, two of which would be en-suite, along with a shared bathroom. Recommended reading:The second floor would be the master bedroom, which would include a walk-in dressing room and en-suite bathroom. The planning, design, and access statement added that the proposal represented a "sustainable development".
