Roosevelt is a great-grandson of former U.S. President Theodore Roosevelt and an advocate for climate protection and the U.S. National Park Service. Roosevelt is a retired U.S. Navy Reserve lieutenant commander and a managing director for Barclays Capital Inc. Roosevelt’s visit is part of the MSU Library’s annual Trout and Salmonid Lecture Series. Each year, the MSU Library hosts a free lecture on the general subject of trout and salmonid studies through its Trout and Salmonid Lecture Series.
