As CM Chandrababu earlier reported, the state contributes nearly 80% of India’s shrimp exports, amounting to around ₹21,000 crore. While we have this situation on one side, Chief minister Chandrababu took the occasion to promote aqua food in the Assembly. He was very vocal about nurturing aqua food which would be very beneficial. Previously, we had promoted egg consumption to enhance protein absorption, and we must plan something similar with aqua food as well.” The CM said. He even discussed the idea of providing aqua food in schools and colleges once a week.
