Women representatives from all districts in Morobe turned out today at the Morobe Provincial Headquarters to pay their last respects to the late Morobe governor today.
A Representative of the Morobe Province Council of women andPresident of Markham District council of Women, Rudy Jacob, on behalf of the Morobe Council of Women expressed their sympathies on the passing of the late governor.
She said the late governor was a man who strongly supported the works of the women in the province.
She added that the governor was the one who funded their recent trip to New Ireland to nominate the president of the National council of Women president.
