The link road from Crown Lane through to Aspinall Way behind Middlebrook at the Rivington Chase housing scheme has been much debated, delayed and discussed in recent times. The crucial road was discussed at a recent meeting between Bolton West MP Phil Brickell, Bolton Council and developers Bluemantel. Mr Brickell said: “Unfortunately, there remain ongoing legal issues preventing the road from being opened at this time.
