Chris Wainwright steps into the role following the promotion of his predecessor, Simon Broadley, to chief executive officer. Simon Broadley, CEO of Furness Building Society, said: "I thoroughly enjoyed my three years as Chief Commercial Officer. Mr Wainwright joined Furness from Skipton Building Society, where he spent 18 years in various senior roles spanning financial services distribution, mortgage strategy, and customer transformation. His career also includes positions at Newcastle Building Society and Bradford and Bingley. "I will do my utmost to maintain this legacy and continue the society’s evolution as a building society for the future."
