That’s the thinking behind Yarraville Live presenting The Rolling Stones Kooyong Concert 52nd Anniversary show on Saturday, October 11. The Monkey Men, who also include former Renee Geyer keyboardist Bruce Haymes, Even drummer Matthew Cotter, Tex Perkins bassist Stephen Hadley, guitarist extraordinaire Andre Warhurst and Ben Marsland on horns, have been playing Rolling Stones tribute shows for 12 years. “There’s a reason why we’ve been doing this show annually since 2013, because people froth it,” said Monkey Men and Yarraville Live booker, James Young. Support act Ezra Lee will be onstage at 8.30pm, with the Monkey Men following at 9.30pm. Yarraville Live is held at the Yarraville Club.
