Kris McFedries also did not have a valid MOT at the time of the crash. ‌The incident happened on the morning of Sunday, September 14 when McFedries' Honda Civic Type-S crashed off Aylestone Road in Leicester. Alan Mee, representing McFedries, of Simpson Road, Stoney Stanton, near Hinckley, said his client worked as a shopfitter earning about £35,000 a year. McFedries, who pleaded guilty to drink-driving and having no valid MOT, was banned from driving for 14 months.
