Elson Low resigns as PNCR treasurer(Kaieteur News) – As the fallout continues in the People’s National Congress Reform (PNCR) its treasurer, Elson Low has tendered his resignation from the post. Low was also a member of the Central Executive Committee of the party and served as the leader’s economic advisor. While Low emphasised that his resignation was only from the treasurer post and not from the party itself, he declined to elaborate fully on the reasons behind his decision. Reflecting on the situation, he expressed regret over not being more assertive in challenging the party’s internal culture. The committee acknowledged recent resignations and confirmed the appointment of two new members to the CEC.
