Plymouth City Council are advertising proposals to introduce long-stay charges at the George Park and Ride to help ensure more spaces are available for bus passengers. To better manage the site and help ensure bus passengers can park and ride we are proposing to introduce charges for all vehicles parking for five hours or longer. Park and ride plays an important part in helping to reduce congestion, particularly in more central parts of the city. This means people who do want to park and ride are often not able to find a space.
