Marysville was on its game Thursday night in a MAC White Division match at Utica, and the Vikings walked off the court with a 25-13, 25-15, 26-24 victory over the Chieftains. Marysville is now starting to open up a gap on the rest of the pack in the MAC White, improving to 19-9-1 overall and 6-0 in the conference. Fraser sits in second at 4-2 with Grosse Pointe North and Utica are tied in third with 3-3 records. “We’ve played really well in the league and we’re going through the second run of the league,” noted Marysville coach Brian Gwisdala. “WE do have a lot of history with a lot of championships – league, district, regional championships and even the nine state championships,” reminded Gwisdala.
