Romeo coach Stacy Williams called a timeout and the Bulldogs responded with an 8-1 spurt led by consecutive kills from outside hitter Emma Rosenow. “I just gave them a couple reminders on serve receive techniques and we changed up what we were running on the serve receive play,” Williams said. Romeo built a 13-7 lead but Anchor Bay scored six straight points to tie the game. Anchor Bay coach Kristy Morrow was disappointed that the Tars didn’t match their performance in the earlier meeting. Romeo improved to 5 -1 in the MAC Red and remained a game behind division-leading Utica Eisenhower.
