112Watch recently had an op-ed by Pavin Chachavalpongpun on Article 112 under Anutin Charnvirakul’s minority government. But we do agree that the:new government’s stance is already crystal clear. The question, therefore, is not whether Article 112 will be reformed, but rather, what this steadfast refusal to act means for Thailand’s political landscape and its people. No one watching politics since 2008 could have failed to noticed the royalist stance taken by Anutin, Newin Chidchob and their party. After all, the previous coalition did nothing much at all about anything, and certainly nothing positive on 112.
