Richard “Daryl” MixonPosted on October 3, 2025Richard “Daryl” Mixon, 81, of Foley passed away peacefully on Sept. 25, 2025. He is survived by : his sister, Anne Wright; his children, Clay Mixon, Holly Lucus and Karla Mixon; grandchildren including Taylor Mixon and Easton Mixon; and great-grandchildren, Eli and Alivia Tyler. Beyond his career, he was deeply devoted to his community; often wiring churches, leading worship services, and lending his hands and heart to help others. Guided by a deep love for God’s Word, Daryl lived in service to others, touching countless lives through his generosity, kindness and unwavering belief. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, Oct. 11, at 1 p.m. at Joe Burns Funeral Home.
