Severe thunderstorms are not expected across the continental U.S. today or tonight. At mid-levels, a ridge will remain over the southern and central Plains this evening, as a shortwave trough continues to move across the Ozarks. Isolated thunderstorms will be possible near the trough in parts of the Ark-La-Tex this evening. Additional storms will be possible tonight across the Florida Peninsula, and over parts of the Intermountain West, ahead of a shortwave trough near the West Coast.
