The CHP Officer had a K9 with him, so the dog walked around the suspect’s vehicle, alerting the officer to possible drugs inside. In the vehicle, CHP found 81.25 pounds of methamphetamine. Carrillo-Gomez was arrested on two felonies – Transport/etc controlled substance and Possess controlled substance for sale. His bail has been set at $6 million, and he is currently in the El Dorado County Jail in Placerville. The suspect was arraigned in El Dorado County Superior Court on Wednesday.
