Man dies after bike-ped crashA 73-year-old pedestrian died after a Nov. 24 collision with a 34-year-old cyclist, Boulder police announced last week. Both men’s heads struck the cement when they fell; the cyclist was wearing a helmet and was uninjured. In a study of Boulder crash data from 2015-2019, there were no incidents that resulted in serious injury or death. The Colorado Secretary of State ordered a recount for the race in House District 19, which spans Boulder and Weld Counties. Results did not change, and Republican Dan Woog, who was ousted from the seat by Democrat Jennifer Parenti in 221, defeated Jillaire McMillan by 109 votes, according to state results.
