Kathmandu, Sept 23: Top Bahadur Rayamajhi, accused in the fake Bhutanese refugee case, has returned to prison. He had walked out of Sundhara prison on September 9 during the Gen Z protests and returned after two weeks. Along with Rayamajhi, about 3,300 inmates had escaped from Sundhara prison alone. Rayamajhi is facing trial for allegedly helping Nepali citizens get fake Bhutanese refugee documents to be sent to the United States. Tek Narayan Pandey, then secretary and a co-accused in the same case, had also escaped from Sundhara prison but has not returned yet.
