The new tombstone in Hollywood Cemetery Brown, one of Orange's most famous people, was broken by vandals less than two months after it was unveiled. It was the second stone for the famed singer-musician after the original marker had been broken by vandals at least twice before. Police were called to Hollywood Cemetery on Simmons Drive at 11:30 a.m. Thursday, September 18, after someone discovered the damage. However, the 2016 Sabine River flood and Hurricane Harvey's flood in 2017 damaged the first stone.
