Ronald Cappy Ricks, affectionately known as Ron and Ronny, was born on November 11, 1944, and passed away peacefully at the age of 80 onSeptember 11, in Baton Rouge, LA. He was preceded in death by his parents Clyde Willis "Cappy" and Billie Bess "BeBe" Ricks, and brother,Scott Ricks. He is survived by his wife, Barbara Ricks; daughters, Amy England, Madeleine Ricks and Margot Ricks; sister, Lynanne Goodwin and husband,Albert Goodwin; two grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; and many loving family members and friends. Ron was a graduate of Bridge City High School and Lamar University in Southeast Texas and proudly served his country in the Army National Guard. The family will celebrate Ron's life at a later date.
