The bottom line, and a reason to celebrate, is that Imelda came and went with zero casualties and no significant damage across Bermuda. Two of those reached category 3 or higher status versus a single major hurricane that normally forms in that time span. But two new areas of interest are being watched by the National Hurricane Center — one near Florida and the other just emerging off Africa.
