The one-day clinic, held from 5:30–7 p.m., gave players ages 5–12 the chance to sharpen their skills under the guidance of Pelham High School soccer coaches and players. The $10 program served as a bridge between the spring season and fall months when no full soccer league is offered. For Sanders, the highlight of the event was watching Pelham High School players interact with the next generation of athletes, both as role models and teachers. “The PHS coaches and players, led by Coach Patrick McDonald, carefully plan and run the drills and skills taught at each clinic,” Sanders said.
