A driver barreled onto a Mansfield sidewalk Thursday morning, striking two pedestrians and leaving one with a serious head injury. The crash happened at 9:47 a.m. nearby 108 Oakland St., a residential area of the town, according to the Mansfield Police Department. A driver in a white 2012 Honda Accord had driven up onto the sidewalk outside the home and hit a male and a female pedestrian, police said. The male pedestrian had a head injury and was flown by medical helicopter to Rhode Island Hospital, police said. The driver of the Honda was not hurt in the crash.
