Portland police are looking for a suspect accused of assaulting a right-wing media personality outside the South Portland federal immigration facility Tuesday. She also compared the relatively small number of Portland protesters outside the ICE building nightly to the international terrorist organization ISIS and claimed Portland police are aligned with these protesters. Daviscourt posted on X that she was hit in the face by someone swinging a flag pole. The Portland Police Bureau has been roundly criticized in right-wing circles for stepping back from protest enforcement around the ICE building. The police have reappeared around the ICE building in the days after Trump’s announcement federalizing 200 Oregon National Guard troops.
