Enter: Tyler Malek, the co-founder of Salt & Straw and an ice cream wunderkind who lives to experiment with frozen treats. The Tacolate is being made in Portland and Salt & Straw sent one to The Oregonian/OregonLive offices for us to try before they hit stores on Friday. Malek has tried a lot of ice cream experiments — some of us still think that ice cream perfume should have taken off — but this is his best one yet.
