MPACUK SUCCESSCAMPAIGN UPDATE: WHITTARDS OF CHELSEA BAN WOMAN WEARING PALESTINIAN KEFFIYEHMany of you will recall the above incident where a sister wearing a keffiyeh was prevented from entering the Strand branch of Whittard of Chelsea in London. This was blatant anti Palestinian racism and in response to our action alert, hundreds of you expressed your rightful anger and left one star reviews on the Trustpilot site, vowed never to shop there and emailed the company to complain. We saw Whittard of Chelsea’s rating fall dramatically over the course of our campaign. Many of you sent us emails from Trustpilot as they sought, presumably under pressure from Whittard, to remove these reviews. To date Whittard of Chelsea have not acknowledged their racist unethical conduct let alone issued an apology, so our message continues to be BOYCOTT WHITTARDS OF CHELSEA.
