Tzaddi Trocard, a student at Dominica Grammar School, has been selected to represent Dominica at the upcoming Caribbean Tourism Organization’s (CTO) Tourism Youth Congress scheduled for October 2, 2025, in Barbados. A press release said the regional event will be part of the State of the Tourism Industry Conference (SOTIC), which is recognized as the premier forum addressing tourism progress and challenges in the Caribbean. It reported that Trocard secured this opportunity by emerging victorious among five contestants during the local Tourism Youth Congress held in May, coinciding with Tourism Awareness Month. Expressing his excitement, Trocard stated, “It is a privilege to represent my school and my country on such a big stage. This competition emphasizes the importance of youth involvement in tourism development and aims to cultivate leadership, public speaking, and advocacy skills among young participants.
