Dennie Lee Cummings, age 67, of Falls of Rough, KY, passed away Wednesday, (October 01, 2025) at his home surrounded by family. He was born on March 08, 1958 in Brownsville, KY, the son of Marcella Cummings and the late Dwight “DL” Cummings. Dennie enjoyed hunting, tractors, riding horses, and spending time with his family, especially his beloved grandchildren. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Peggy Edwards Cummings of Falls of Rough; two sons, Jamie Cummings of Falls of Rough & Jason Cummings (Amy) of Caneyville; five grandchildren, Leah Crawford (Brenis), and Danielle, Jacob, Colton & Jackson Cummings; four great-grandchildren, Lilly Jo, Annie, Frances & Erin Crawford; his mother, Marcella Cummings (James Mudd) of Caneyville; two brothers, Eddie Cummings (Cinda) of Caneyville & Daren Cummings (Anna), both of Caneyville; and a sister, Vickie Davis (Donnie) of Roundhill. Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Monday, (October 06, 2025) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield.
