Martinez police announced Thursday the arrest of a man on suspicion of murder for a case earlier this year that investigators initially said involved an intruder at his home. Martinez police in an initial press release that day said a resident said that someone known to him entered the home without permission and attacked him. In the ensuing months, police in partnership with the Contra Costa County District Attorney’s Office investigated the case and determined that Daniels should be arrested and charged with murder.
