Penn State coach Guy Gadowsky will serve as head coach of the U.S. College Selects team, which will play in the Spengler Cup in Davos, Switzerland, from Dec. 26-31. Penn State forward Gavin McKenna is expected to be the No. Army’s Lucas Kanta (Grand Forks) is the lone local-area player in Atlantic Hockey this season. Kanta and Hodgson were teammates at Grand Forks Central. Alaska’s William Lawson-Body (Grand Forks) and Carson Reed (Warroad) are the local and area players among the independent teams.
