GRAND FORKS — In his investiture speech Thursday, Northeast Central Judicial District Judge Andrew Eyre emphasized the importance of professionalism and civility when practicing law in all capacities.
ADVERTISEMENT"Even if people are throwing hands and throwing elbows, you shake hands after you're done," Eyre said.
"Now, if I can expect my 5- and 6-year-olds to shake hands after a hockey game, I should be able to expect 36- and 37-year-old lawyers to shake hands after a trial."
