Burien Police arrested a man on multiple felony charges after he allegedly impersonated a law enforcement officer and threatened to kill a driver during a confrontation late Tuesday night, Oct. 1, 2025. Police said the incident began when deputies were dispatched to a report of a person with a weapon. Deputies later located the suspect fleeing on foot. During the pursuit, a deputy believed the suspect discarded a firearm. A K9 track helped officers locate the firearm believed to have been dropped during the chase.
